We took a trip with friend Thelma Go and friends to Baguio. Wound up staying at the house of Senator Nikki Coseteng, whose ancestral house there is now being used as a bed and breakfast. It was the coldest that Baguio has been since 1972 wouldn't you know...my luck!
We spent 2 nights in Baguio at Nikki's place, then zipped down to Subic the Old Naval base to check out housing and business possibilities. We fell in love with it there. So if anyone knows of a good place to lease for a year, let us know. We stayed 2 more nights in Subic at the Legenda Hotel, Junior suite. It's definitely decent. Sort of faded glory na, but still very do-able.
From Subic we meandered back to Matabungkay to catch up with cousin Alex Limjoco at his resort called Al Fresco, right on the white sand beach. What a whirlwind week this has been!
We are now back in Alabang until we leave for Palawan this Feb. 16th to celebrate Dave's 50th birthday.
